Last trail of MadhumakarandGad

On another Sunday, 19th Jan, 2014, we started (team of 17 young guys) to trek the amazing trek starting from Dhabe Mohan to MadhumakarandGad, in circular way. a. First steep of almost size 400 meters made us to drain almost every one, and then we started taking traverses  and screes  in the dense forests. some of few photographs will show the beauty of jungle and motivate why we run every week end to forest. Thanks for such lovely nature around and in Maharashtra. We love this Ghats from bottom of hearts.

New Experience at Sandhan

This is wonderful experience at Samrad, a place near Ratanwadi, on way to Ghatghar. Actually this is different kind of trekking experience I enjoyed. What is Sandhan. In marathi, there is a word called "Sandh" means, a small gap between two articles. The size can be of any magnitude. This is exactly made by Nature at Samrad. We came at Samrad at past night and halted at Yeshwant Bandre's house, a typical costal house in a very tiny village. A school in front of house and some more houses around, that is all. We woke in early morning and were ready march towards Sandhan which is just 1/5 km. The starting point in Sandhan itself was thrilling. And then we slowly started getting feel of it. Water and water everywhere. Stones, slippery stones were lying all over. If anyone was not careful, there was sure to be fall horizontally. We had to walk through knee deep water, besides swimming at some places. And then at one place, a wonderful waterfall welcome all of us. Everyo
